I needed a new tray/device thing to plant catgrass for my cat because the one I bought didnt really hold the grass in place so the cat ripped most of it right out instead of just eating the tops.
That old one only had 1 mesh layer so I designed this to be 2 layers. The tray layer to hold the seeds and allow the roots through to the water and the lid layer to keep the seed and roots below while allowing the shoots to grow through. This is meant for a hydroponic style, not sure if it would work with soil but I don't really see why not.
I remembered seeing the Oddish planters awhile back and thought it would be funny to have it be a spiky haired young Oddish getting hair trims from the cat.
Since it is also LowPoly week and IMO Pokemon has some great charm as lowpolys, it is a lowpoly version of oddish remixed from https://www.printables.com/model/106067-happy-oddish-planter. (I also couldn't really remember how to get the game meshes anymore)
Print Instructions
I have visually checked the gcode at 0.2mm layer height and there should only be minimal problematic overhangs that might cause a wild string or 2.
The "WGrid" versions have the mesh premodeled in for those who prefer that, they use 3mm squares for the lid and 1.5mm for the tray.
Otherwise the non-"WGrid" versions have included modifier built into the .stp that you can change type to modifier in prusaslicer to tweak the settings to generate the mesh to your liking. 3mf has the modifiers prepped for editing
Assembly Instructions
See the exploded view to get an idea on how they all fit together. Should just snap fit with the 3 pins. Load the tray with the seeds and clip it onto the lid. Then place the lid on top of the pot.
There is a triangle notch and nub combo (Indicated by red arrows) towards the back of Oddish for orientation and alignment of the lid+tray assembly to the pot. The other 2 notches are partial cylinders. There is also a single triangle notch in the tray to align it with the lid.
