This adapter lets you use the Vileda mops with the proprietary attachment system on the Vileda mop handles that have the threaded end. I made it for myself as a challenge after I bought the wrong type of mop for my handle. Works well enough, though it did crack a bit on one end upon insertion. I may need to play around with the tolerances a bit, but for now I just secured it with a bit of duct tape to add more durability.
Printed it at default orientation, with a brim and some supports for the overhang in the middle of the threaded part. Could be that supports weren't needed and that bridging alone would suffice, but PrusaSlicer was giving me warnings and the tree supports didn't spend too much fillament. Printed in PETG with a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.15mm layer height, but could probably handle larger layer heights too. Used three perimeters.
Worth noting is that the original handle I borrowed to model this attachment after also showed signs of cracking in places, making me skeptical from the start. Could be poor design choices, could be planned obsolescence. Either way, I like the threaded solution way better.
