A simple 3 part System to protect your satelite reciever from bad weather.
To be printed in ASA, so it is weather and UV resistant.
You also need 6 bolts and nuts and 8 washers to secure everything together and to the reciever arm. I used the ones of the original from goobay “LNB Weather Cover”.
After many years of UV and another hail storm the hood broke and just to be sure I remodeled the complete assembly for my satelite dish (shorter conector and also made an longer version for more protection).
For the longer version (the one I printed and shown in the picture above):
If you use Bambu Studio and want to print Dish_Protector_long use the cut function at 130 mm height and use connectors of the Type Plug and Style Frustum. I used 5 connectors of 3mm height with .1mm tolerance and size 2.5mm and .2mm tolerance. Use acetone or Pattex Repair EXtreme glue to connect the pieces.
