A sign to put on your dishwasher handle to indicate that the dishes are clean. Simply put this on the handle when you start your dishwasher and then remove it when you put your dishes away.
Our dishwasher is an LG - the handle has a curve to it. Should work on Whirlpool and maybe some others, too. I haven't tried it on a dishwasher with a straight handle, but it probably won't work. Also, if the handle shape is round, then it will probably fall off - the LG handle has a sort of “D” shaped profile to it.
The print in the photo uses Prusament Galaxy Silver PLA. Looks great next to stainless steel.
Sure, there are other signs out there that you can print that have both “Dirty” and "Clean" and then you pick which one applies. But those have a problem: you have to remember to switch the sign when you turn on the dishwasher and when you put the dishes away. What if you start the dishwasher and don't change the sign to Clean? Then the next day you're looking at the Dirty sign but thinking “man, I'm pretty sure I ran the dishwasher last night - but I'm not positive." That's no fun. For me, I like having this physical sign on the handle that makes it clearer.
Pro tip: Put this sign right next to your dishwasher soap. You always have to grab the soap when you run the dishwasher, right? That way, the sign is right there ready to go when you need it.
