Wheels out mounting system for Drop-through Longboards.
Print out two of the lower mounts, one of which needs to be mirrored in your slicer. Orientate it so that the side of the mount is on the build plate to improve strength. 3 perimeters, 4 top/bottom layers, 25% infill and PLA works well. Feel free to increase if you worry about strength. At the end of the day, if it breaks, print a new one.
When fixing to the wall, make sure the upper mount only just catches the nose of the board and there is a gap to the top of the hook.
To insert the board, place the top of the board in the upper mount first, then rotate the bottom of the board in and drop down into the lower mounts.
To remove the board, lift it slightly into the upper mount, rotate the bottom of the board out, and slide down and out.
As the curvature of decks will vary, I've included a Fusion360. Increase the parameter ‘LM_HighSide_1’ to increase the angle of the mount. A minimum value of 8mm will make the mount flat, with no angle.
