I recently got a Quantel Brilliant rainbow laser system. The cavity gasket was missing so I printed one. There is a “positive” for direct print and a negative for casting a gasket from silicone. The mold already has the right conical thread for the common silicon cartridge (at least in Germany).
If you are not familiar with this thing I want to give a quick introduction: a Nd:YAG laser has a so called resonator or cavity. There is a mirror in the back as well as in the front. The one in the front lets a little bit of light trough. Thats the visible output. Between the mirrors is a so called gain medium. Thats were the laser light is coming from. In most high power Nd:YAG Lasers this is under water. The gasket goes between the laser casing and the lid of the water filled container.
