If you make a picture frame, or some sort of artistic, greeting-card-like item, you may need one of these to nicely display your handiwork.

I put this together, and it seems to work nicely.  The only challenge is that you need a pin for the hinge piece, but there are many options.  Some makers have used a piece of filament, and melted one end.

Another easily-found choice is a simple nail. A five or six cm (2inch) finishing nail will work too. (file the point to be less sharp). Other options – a straight piece of 14 gauge (14 AWG) solid wire, such as used for household wiring. An M2 machine screw would probably fit too, if you have a long one about.

I used the shaft from an aluminum rivet, which also worked very nicely.

Whatever pin approach you use, a little bit tight (eg friction) is better than floppy and loose, to ensure it stays put when placed.

Attach the square piece to the back of your frame, picture or card. I used hot glue, but have also included mounting holes in case you wish to use some wood screws.

Not much else to say about this one. Pretty obvious usage.

Perhaps I'll add a few other sizes if there is some particular interest in future?
