What
This is a set of coasters that have an in-laid aperiodic tile pattern.
Why
Aperiodic tiles are cool, and I don't have enough coasters.
How
The included 3mf project file contains three instances of same tile each scaled such that the internal diameter is 85mm (This is the diameter of a standard coffee cup). This project is also enabled for the MMU3 using two colours.
Process and Assembly
You can either print the included gcode or use the 3mf project file to alter as it suits.
Extra
Coasters work best when they insulate the hot/cold item from the surface they are resting on.
What you can do is buy cork sheeting or coasters from a craft shop and glue them to the bottom of the coasters to insulate them.
