Purpose & Features:
ShelfLock is engineered to enhance your kitchen cabinet's shelf stability by fulfilling two critical roles:
- Offering robust shelf support.
- Filling the side gap to prevent existing support/pegs from dropping
Customizable Variables:
The Fusion 360 file contains two variables for easy customization:
- gap_filler: Adjust this variable to match the total gap size between the shelf length and the interior width of the cabinet.
- shelf_thickness: Customize this variable to fit the thickness of your specific shelf.
Installation:
Remove items from shelf before installation. Insert ShelfLock into the peg holes, ensuring it sits flush against the cabinet wall. Install the shelf onto the support pegs and conduct a stability test. Upload pictures!
Materials:
I've only attempted this with PLA on a Prusa Mk4. For increased durability, consider using PETG.
