I made this VW Corrado model for a friend as a bday present. And after investing so much work I wanted to share.
As seen on the Photos, I also painted it a bit after printing - mainlz for the windows it makes sense since otherwise they would look the same as the body parts
For the Print:
- The Body has a length of 28cm for best print results, I recommend to cut it in half and glue it together.
- The Rims are print in place and contain movable parts to enable the tires to roll.
- The Lights are extremely thin, I printed the with transparent PLA and a print setting of 0.05mm
PROTIP: paint the lights bright before glueing the light-cover on, the will nicely shine through. - The Tires are designed to be print with FLEX material, you will have to squeeze them on the rims. .. not sure if possible when printed with a solid material.
- Numbers plate not included: sorry, also blurred out on photos. but if you can create one by your own. it gives a very nice finish.
