Viel Spas

I created a two-part component to insert Plexiglass panels into a Kallax compartment. Magnetic. To protect our Lego collections from our offspring, we needed a barricade. Preferably transparent. In the end, I quickly created 2 components myself. One is securely screwed into the Kallax compartment with a wood screw. The other is inserted/glued to a corner of a Plexiglas panel. The panel now stays in the compartment thanks to magnets. Simple.

What is needed:

-Magnets 8x3mm

-Plexiglass panels 33cmx33cm, 3mm thick

The dimensions for the panel may vary slightly depending on the tolerances of your Kallax. In my case, 12 panels of the specified dimensions fit. I would recommend printing a set of 4 first and then measuring accurately again.

For aesthetic reasons, I suggest that out of a set of 4 in the slicer, mirror 2 of the 4 parts to be screwed. This way, the radius always faces the inside of the compartment.

Have Fun
