My remix of great spool holder that was originally made for 2kg Prusas spool.
This remix allows you to use even bigger 2,5kg spools with 30cm diameter.
Update:
The lenght of the holder and the weight of the spool was causing a lot of up and down movement that was creating unnecesary vibrations to the printer. I was also affraid that it might cause the holder to break. I created additional support part that can be connected to the holder after you put the spool on and it greatly reduces this problem. Only disadvantage is that you have to take it off every time you want to change the spool.
Update 2:
Updated the main holder to avoid crash with the Extruder.
That problem got carried from the original model, but the updated version “Spool holder 30cm_crash_fixed” should fix it.
