The locking mechanism on my pruners wasn't keeping them closed anymore leaving the sharp blade dangerously exposed. I modeled and printed a replacement part to rectify that situation. It prints fine in PLA but I would recommend something more rigid like PETG. It requires supports under the raised thumb lever, but they should be easy to remove. Ignore the random bolts on my pruners in the photograph, these things have seen heavy use and some small abuse.
