This is a stick of dynamite (32mmx200mm) and a band for making a three-stick bundle.
Printing:
The dynamite consists of two pieces, the Stick and the Plug. The Plug holds the fuse. Both were printed without supports.
The Wrap is a separate piece that would need to be printed if you wanted to make a small bundle (3-sticks) of dynamite.
The Stick and Plug were printed in red PETG, and the Wrap in black PETG.
Assembly Notes:
Thread twine (aka a fuse) through the Plug and affix to the bottom of the Plug with glue. Then glue the Plug into the Stick. I used superglue for both.
The hole in the Plug is 2.2mm with a slight taper to make it easier to thread the fuse. The top of the hole on the Plug is 3.67mm, the bottom of the hole is 2.2mm.
For a fuse I used Green #30 Garden Jute Twine that was purchased from a big box store. I used a lighter to singe off the twine's stray fibers, then rubbed the twine with Elmer's white glue. It dried moderately stiff and looks the part.
I filled the engraved lettering with nail polish and sanded the outside of the entire stick to remove the gloss from the plastic and the excess nail polish from around the lettering.
