A replacement YETI magslider for all the lost or stolen ones out there. Just choose which version to print.
YETI_out_15x3mm: just print and glue in a 15mm diameter 3mm tall magnet after
YETI_in_15x3mm: print with a pause at layer 17 when using a 0.2 layer height (3.4mm) then drop in a 15mm diameter 3mm tall magnet and continue the print.
YETI_side_in_15x3mm: print with a pause at layer 118 when using a 0.2 layer height (23.6mm) or at layer 116 when using an adaptive layer height, then drop in a 15mm diameter 3mm tall magnet and continue the print. When using an adaptive layer height no supports are needed if using 0.2, supports may be needed but will need to be disabled in the center hollow.
YETI_out_8x3mm: just print and glue in a 8mm diameter 3mm tall magnet after
YETI_in_8x3mm: print with a pause at layer 18 when using a 0.2 layer height (3.6mm) then drop in a 8mm diameter 3mm tall magnet and continue the print. When using an adaptive layer height no supports are needed if using 0.2, supports may be needed but will need to be disabled in the center hollow.
YETI_side_in_8x3mm: print with a pause at layer 101 when using a 0.2 layer height (20.2mm) or at layer 95 when using an adaptive layer height, then drop in a 8mm diameter 3mm tall magnet and continue the print.
YETI: cut in a hole for your magnet with the software of your choosing and print.
Note: the 15mm magnets result in more of a continuous smooth sliding motion and the 8mm magnets result in the snap open snap closed of the original.
