We have a built in refrigerator with a wooden panel connected to the outside.
The clamp on the rail became too flexible to the point that it didnt clamp to the rail anymore. So when pulling on the metal handle on the wooden panel only the panel opened and the refrigerator stayed closed.
I designed a new rail and clamps to replace the original.
the first one o printed in transparent PA, wich broke in 2 days.
The second one was printed in regular PLA, wich after a few weeks now still holds!
guess it needs some flexibility.
The rail is nearly friction fit without any slack/backlash at all!
