Cut the plastic flaps with a razor blade. Leave the blade horizontal and press it against the plastic, do not zigzag, cut as if it were a slice of cheese.
Use the 1.2mm (height) disc to minimize friction (smoothest part facing upwards). The diameter allows you to use any type of roller. Given that the flap is ~2.5mm tall, you still gain at least 1mm of height.
The feet are optional if you want to test the dryer lying down. May work better for some types of rollers.
