I was making a walking cane for a costume, but it needed to be able to collapse to fit into a backpack. This seemed to be a good solution to me. There are 2 parts, top and bottom, and they have clearance for a 4mm woodscrew to attach to the cane. Mine is 18mm diameter, but I have attached the STEP file so you can modify it. Scaling it would also probably work. I reccomend printing with a fairly high infill, to give it strength, and with a fine layer height to help the threads have enough definition to be usable. I printed all the parts in about 2 hours at 0.8mm layer height on my Ender-3 V2 at 60mm/s. Happy Printing.
