A base of the smartphone stand a passive amplifier shape is used, connected directly under the mono speaker of a Xperia XA2. The Xperia XA2 used a single speaker, so the amplified sound is mono. The three parts are glued together to from a single part. A cutout is made to fit the nano-usb connector. In real life is the sound is a bit shrill, missing low tones. But maybe the phone speaker is not producing it at all. The passive amplifier is making the sound louder very well.
