To encourage youth to pursue Engineering and related fields, in 2022 we were part of an event at our local mall where we 3D printed and handed out card kits of the Canadian Engineering marvel the Avro Arrow. I'm working on a redesigned version of this project, so I figured why not share it with the rest of the world!
The kits were distributed to kids free of charge with an accompanying information card with facts about the Avro Arrow. The event was a blast and the kids loved assembling the kits at the assembly stations.
We recommend mixing and matching the colours, the result is super fun!
PETG at 0.15mm layer height was what we printed them at.
The assembly instructions weren't the best, but the majority of the kids figured it out anyway.
