I saw this portafilter holder in a coffee shop and made a 3D model of it. The open base version came to mind when I realised that I always have to drain the portafilter in the sink, but the holder gets wet and dirty in the long run. I use the closed base version on the work surface so that I can store the portafilter there and the work surface stays clean.
Variant 1: with closed base to keep the shelf clean.
Variant 2: open base so that the portafilter can drip off in the sink.
Fits standard single and duo portafilters (E61 and similar). Bottomless portafilters fit well, but of course slip slightly when stirred due to their design.
Print it with PETG or similar temperature-stable materials, as the portafilter could also be placed on top when heated.
