As mentioned above, this is a functional guillotine prop as an extra-spooky decoration! Some assembly and supports are required, however.
The Stock_Top and Guillotine Blade files are intended to be printed first (or in the case of the stock, alongside the base) and inserted into the body partway through the printing of the base itself. This allows them to remain “captured” after printing and can slide up and down the body as you see fit.
Additionally, the Guillotine Blade has two tiny pins that can be used to insert/attach the Blade Ring onto the blade itself once it's finished printing (it can always be glued on by itself without the pins if you'd prefer not to bother with them). The blade prints upside-down to accommodate a filament color change to allow all of the wood pieces to match and the blade to keep its metallic look.
Once assembled, you can tie a string/rope to the Blade Ring and thread it through the hole in the top of the base, which can then be tied off on the left-hand side cleat to keep it at whatever height you choose.
Note- the referenced pauses/color swaps ARE included in the .gcode attached here, but if you would prefer to edit these print files yourself, just remember to add those back in!
The base itself will require a good amount of supports (organic is always recommended!) but keeps overall filament usage on the lower side. However, the supports that aren't part of the cleat could be done without, if you have faith in your printers' bridging capabilities! Otherwise, happy printing!
