I used regular table salt as the weight, and then super glued the top on. Has been working great since.
Originally designed for some spare rectangular jars I had left over from spices, I also designed an accompanying model (also here) that goes in the hole and has a couple of spots designed to keep brushes in water, and on the side opposite to that some grooves to get rid of excess water.
The rounded base can be printed upside down with not supports required. The top can also be printed upside down without supports, if you have the right bridging presets. I was just lucky, I know nothing about bridging, but it just worked. Blissfully ignorant I'm afraid!
