In order to keep mosquitos out of my house I built thes simple covers. And protect the LED installation (a bit). LEDs are inserted in the roofing of the patio, but access to my roof directly, so I have access from under the roof to the "patio ceiling".

Functional benefits and a good opportunity to get rid of your upmost ugly filament (LOL).

Just put over the LED-installation, leave it unfastened, just gravity. Few slots for air circulation, just in case of.
