I bought a pool cover pump for our above ground pool because I was sick of trying to empty all of the rain, melted snow, and leaves from the cover each year before opening our pool. I was determined to keep the cover as clear as I could this season. I found this SurmountWay Pool Cover Pump on Amazon and decided to pick it up. One of the complaints was that it tipped over easily, and it does. So I decided to do design a stabilizer to attach to the pump to solve this issue.

The model file comes with two parts, so you need to double up on both parts to complete the ring. I modeled it this way because my print bed could not print the entire ring in one print.
I used 15mm m3 machine screws to attach the ring pieces together. The stabilizer in the photos has 3.5mm holes in the posts that attach to the pump, which were too big for m3 screws but way to small for m4 screws, so I ended up using some ¾" wood screws to attach the pump to the stabilizer. The model here has 3mm holes in the posts, so you can use m3 screws and washers to attach the pump to the stabilizer. Those holes are 30mm deep.
