A MasterLiquid ATMOS Pump Cover badge, reminiscent of the SENTINEL machine design from The Matrix.
The badge comes in two variations -
1.) The “Built-In Supports” variation has built-in supports and a narrower light channel under the pipes for use with any material. Support material only needs to be generated around the outside edge of the badge. Original concept of the badge was to use translucent PETG to partially illuminate the pipes from within.
2.) The “No Built-In Supports” version has no built-in pipe supports and a wider light channel under the pipes to facilitate the easy removal of any slicer generated support material. This creates a more 3-dimensional floating effect. It works quite well with PLA due to the easy support removal under the pipes.
Example models in the photos were sliced in PrusaSlicer and printed on a Creality CR-10 SMART using Neon Green PLA with the following specs:
Nozzle = .4mm
Layer Height = .2mm
Infill = 100%
Infill Pattern = Rectilinear
Print Speed = 25mm/s
I have included the two print files I used for my CR-10 SMART that contain custom paint-on supports.
