This board is designed for 14mm marbles. You can use it with other sizes, or just scale it appropriately.
How to Play (1 Player Solitaire)
- Remove a marble from the center hole.
- Select a marble to jump over another into the vacant hole (never diagonally).
- Remove the marble you jumped over placing it into the outer ring.
- Continue until one marble is left in the play area. (Can you end with the last marble in the center hole?)
How to Play (2 Player Fox and Geese)
- Select one marble to use as the fox (this marble should be unique to prevent confusion later on).
- Setup the board as shown in the Fox and Geese Setup picture.
- Players decide who will play as the Fox and who will play as the Geese. Players will also decide who will get to go first and if diagonal moves will be allowed.
- The “Fox” can move forward, backwards, sideways, or diagonally (if decided) one space, or jumping over a “Goose”. If the “Fox” jumps over a “Goose”, the “Goose” is removed from play. The “Fox” cannot jump multiple “Geese” at a time. The Fox wins when all the “Geese” have been eliminated.
- One “Goose” can move forward, backwards, sideways, or diagonally (if decided) one space per turn. The goal of the “Geese” is to trap the “Fox” preventing it from moving, or jumping any “Geese”. If the “Fox” is unable to move, the Geese win the game.
