This is a micro-clipboard sized to a field notes book with a K6ARK paddle mount integrated on the underside. It is designed to allow you to have a firm surface to hold the field notes book while logging as well an easy method to “hold” your morse code paddle. Most radios have an option to swap the dit and dah paddle assignments allowing your key to be operated upside down. There are holes near each corner to allow you to tether a pen/pencil to the board if you desire. They could also be used for a bit of shock cord to hold the note book in place. There are also a set of grooves at each end for use with a rubber band if you would like to go that route. I typically use a small (15mm, "5/8") binder clip to hold the my field notes book in place.
Additionally, I place a small metal plate on the opposite end to affix my other morse paddles that have magnets. Simply flip the clipboard around depending on what key you are using.
I use these plates by wixgear. Note if you use their magnetic mount system it will come with extra plates that you can use for this print.
You can also roll your own log sheets. I have cutdown these large gridded sticky notes pads to for use with this clipboard
