A simple take on a simple tool. I've seen similar tools made with a printed screw. I don't fancy them. Printed threads have their uses but they will never beat a good old steel screw in applications like this.
The sides are slanted so I can sand say the inside of a drawer and not have my knuckles in the way.
The only hardware needed is a ¾" long ¼" diameter screw, a ¼" washer and a standard ¼" nut.
The nut press fits in the base plate.
I've also added 2mm thick self adhesive cork to the bottom. The peculiar cork sheet I used is used to make coasters.
