I've created these sculptures as a gift for my grandfather(he is a
mathematician). Mine where printed in clear blue PLA.
Tetrahedron in a Tetrahedron
I recommend you print this one with support material. especially the smaller tetrahedron.
The printing time is around 4-8 hours.
Octahedron in a Cube
I recommend you print this one with support material. especially the smaller octahedron.
The printing time is around 3-7 hours
Icosahedron in a Dodecahedron
I printed this sculpture without support material on my Prusa I3-MK3-S and it came out just fine. The printing time is around 5-9 hours.
Recommended Slicer Settings
Infill - 15-20%.
Wall Layer Count - 3 (Wall Lines)
Filament - PLA (I have not tested any other filaments for these prints yet)
Speed - 50 mm/s
Layer height - 0.15-0.2 mm
Scirt/Brim - None
