We wanted to do some flags with strings and thought we should make a start, so here are String Flags!
Choosing A File
This table shows you which countries flags are supported, and which file you should choose for each supported country! We do not have flags for every country or territory, but will add more slowly over time.

Printing
The flags are made to be printed directly on the print bed front down with no supports. You must use a 0.4mm nozzle and a 0.2mm layer height.
Bambu users should have arachne walls pre-selected. I hear that in Cura or PrusaSlicer you should select Print Thin Walls to make the print work, but have not tested these slicers personally.
There are Bambu Studio painted files available as well as normal unpainted 3MFs. You will need to change the colours in the slicer to match your flag when using the Bambu version, which is pretty easy. The other 3MFs have not been configured.
The above flags have all been printed using Extrudr NX-2 matte PLA.
