I found a design for a toddler pull up bar. It was too light and too bulky...I engineered solutions :-)

I found this pull-up bar while trying to find some options for my kid: https://mabelslabels.com/blog/2016/02/26/diy-pull-up-bars/
I built it per the directions, but it was too light so my kid was just pulling around and it was sliding when he was trying to pull up. It was also too bulky and couldnt be broken down and stored.
Someone in the comments suggested filling it with sand. So I designed some parts to split the two lower connecting sections and seal them and then seal the tops of the verticals.
I bonded most o the assemblies with PVC cement. Then I split the lower sections, installed my connecting pieces, alighed, drilled and added #6x.5" FH self tappers. I bonded those with super glue. Filled the sections with sand and then glued the top plugs in with super glue.
Each section was around 22-24oz.
The top bars are just friction fit.
i also made a funnel for easy filling.
