Update 20.11.2023: new gears, add shaft with crank, new photos
Gearbox compatible with the Merkur construction kit. The gear ratio can be adjusted by exchanging gears on the shafts.
The gears on the shafts are secured by an M3 screw. Threads for the screws can be created using taps, but with a bit of ingenuity, screws can be inserted without threading.
Gear ratio for different gears:
- 1:4 (20 teeth and 80 teeth gears)
- 1:3 (25 teeth and 75 teeth gears)
- 1:2 (33 teeth and 67 teeth gears)
- 1:1 (50 teeth and 50 teeth gears)
Other necessary components:
- 4x screw M3-14
- 2x screw M3-4 (for secure the gears on the shaft)
- 1x screw M3-20, nut M3 (for crank handle)
Printing parameter:
- Nozzle: 0,4 mm
- Layer height: 0,2 mm
- Perimeters: 2
- Infill: 15%
