Recommend using supports for the upper portion. Originally the nozzle slot was designed to perfectly sandwich the thing, but now it's more so ‘close enough’. Note that the height was designed around stemless wine glass, but stemmed wine glasses can bit fit as well, just at an angle.
On the prusa at least, I did not need supports for the bottom portion. I was a bit worried about the arch, but it turned out to print alright.
