I decided to make my own PCB holder for soldering. I wanted the design to be simple but strong.
The rods are ½-inch dia. from an old inkjet printer that I cut in half. They are heavy enough to hold the whole thing down without it moving around a lot.
I opted to use M3 heat-set inserts to hold the rods and one of the clamps.
I recommend printing the clamps with higher infill since they are receiving more stress the the stands. Print the clamps with the grooves down and the stands on the side.
