Taking things one step further, this no-longer-quite-so-simple bumper extension is JUST tall enough to not clear the couch, but still low enough to pass under other places where it doesn't get stuck. But this latest version uses a laser-cut (.stl included) “roof” to prevent things that can still snag on balls…
