This tree topper consists of three snowflakes, intersecting at 30° from each other. The result can be seen as a snowflake from almost any direction. Just five parts to print, and the snowflakes themselves are just 0.6mm thick, causing the whole assembly to weigh less than 50 g (or 1.7 oz if you prefer imperial units).
Extras
Also included are an alternative, thicker "2D" single-snowflake version (derived from an earlier design attempt that ended up way too heavy), and an alternative top bracket with a ring for using this as hanging decoration instead (or if you want to secure your tree topper to the ceiling for some reason, I won't judge, neither you or your tree). These are shown in the last two photos.
Print settings
All of the parts can be printed without any supports, and (except for the "2D" version) even without any infill. The pictured models are all printed on my MK3S+, using the default "0.20mm QUALITY" preset (+0% infill, except for the "2D" version), in Prusament Galaxy Silver PLA.
Assembly
The assembly is easy, just slide the two "side" parts onto the "main" part from either end, and secure them in position using the "top holder" and "bottom holder" parts in either end. Disassembly is equally easy, and the result is becomes flat (except the two holders), making for easy storage during the parts of the year you don't wish to have this on display.
