I made this because I found myself waiting for students who were supposed to be copying code and running it on their machines, but weren't letting me know they were done. They have surprisingly likes using them.

The intent is that the main part is printed in a neutral color while each of the other two parts are printed in opposing colors. I went with red (for not ready) and green (for ready). The notch and hold on those two parts lets you place one into the main part then slide the other in from the other end and snap them together. there should be plenty of play for them to move freely as a single object inside and stay in place.

This made for easy bulk printing - I did 22 of each on their own bed/color.

They can also be used as fidget devices, but they make a slightly annoying sound, which you'll find out quickly.

I printed in PLA with a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer heights. You could do pretty much anything, it's a simple design (done is Open SCAD). I did 5% infill, but none would have been fine (though louder) and %100 would have a little more weight (and likely quieter).

For some reason I can't figure out, when I printed the main part, it thought it wasn't ON the bed. Maybe the first layer was too thin, so didn't see it. I lowered it by 0.1mm and all was good. It might not need that for you. The main part is probably best printed with a skirt. I used one.
