I didn't want to spend the time needed to print certain parts of the https://www.printables.com/model/560402-stargate-with-iris-80cm-in-diameter Chevrons with supports that were difficult to clean later. I also needed the central light to be hollow so that I could use an LED behind it.

The files here can be printed with much less support needed. The chevron2_9 PT01 and PT02 can be printed without supports, but chevron4_9 PT01 and PT02 will still need supports. Also included are the pins used to align and connect the pieces together later.

The split chrevron2_9 pieces also allow you to add LEDs and insert the inner ring after all the other parts are assembled, just snapping PT02 over top at the end.

UPDATE 1/26/2024: I've uploaded the Arduino code I created, the dialing sequence MP3, and photos of my prototype circuit for anyone interested in using it: https://github.com/spradlinb/Stargate_3D

UPDATE 4/6/2024: I added the hollowed out support piece (ttt_-_gate_support_9th_Electronics) and edge piece with pass through hole for the power cable (ttt_-_gate7_1_6x2_Magnets_Power). Parts to fit the pass through: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XCNSM81 (power jack), https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018FHB0H6 (on/off switch).

The addressable LED lights I used are “Chasing Dream Full Color Twinkle Decorative” style, with wire that's much easier to manipulate than most: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BVZLWQ2T
