Small strainer holes to keep a fountain head free of clogging particles. Attaches to pond pump with a ¾" threaded female pipe fitting on the filter.
Can be printed w/o supports standing up.
Due to the large surface area of the filter and the flow rate of the pump this filter rarely needs cleaning as most particles simply fall off as there is not enough suction to hold them on the filter. I only have to clean it once or twice a year.
After 2 years of use the original failed at the threaded connector. Likely due to too few walls so I reprinted with 8 walls. I suspect that will resolve that weak point.
