3D printed table clamp for cable management
Cable Management: They guide the cables, preventing them from tangling and cluttering the workspace. This helps in maintaining an organized and clean workspace.

These functions of the clamps contribute to a more efficient and orderly work environment. They also help in reducing potential damage or disconnections that could be caused by unmanaged cables.
The clamp comes in two variants:
- Clamp 12-27: Suitable for desk thicknesses ranging from 0mm to 27mm.
- Clamp 38-54: Designed to fit an IKEA LACK table with a thickness of 50mm.
Construction Details:
- It can accommodate cables with a diameter of up to 8mm.
- The clamps are optimized for printing without support structures.
- They have been successfully tested using PLA material with a layer resolution of 0.2mm.
- The press plate can be easily attached to the screw after installation, providing a secure hold.
- Additionally, use of an long screw allows you to mount the clamp on desks with thicknesses ranging from 0mm to 54mm.
The design includes four variants of screws:
- 0.05mm, 0.1mm, 0.15mm, and 0.2mm of clearance on the thread.
- These different clearances allow testing the fit with various screw threads.
- for normal use screw with clearance 0.15-0.2mm is recommended.
The clamp is a beneficial outcome from the functional testing of threads tailored for FDM 3D printing and the functionality of the FreeCAD.
