Lizzard platform

This project was done as a final project for my 3D course.

I had some ideas related with nature, but when i saw the ramp made by unknwondazza on instagram i felt that this was the one. Its pretty funny when i think about it because i've always been out in nature playing with animal of all kind - lizzards, frogs, birds, squirrels,… - so seeing this and having the opportunity to do it just felt right.

This is a simple ramp for small animals that fall down to the pool and can't get out. One of their strategies is to "swim" to the closest wall and navigate it until they find a safe spot where they can get out.

With the project that becomes possible.

The model has 3 main components:

• Top base - holds the entire platform and its the connection to the land
• Stairs - so the animals can climb to land
• Bottom base - it floats on top of the water and is the first step for the animals to climb

This model was printed in PLA and because this material its not water proof we need to painted it.
