A rubber-band powered cannon that fits standard GraviTrax-compatible tiles. Cock it, pull the trigger and launch your marble down the track.
Based on the design of mechanic403: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4616717. Redesigned with tight tolerances and an optional logo inlay.
🔩 Extra hardware needed
• 2× small self-tapping screws (approx. 10 × 2 mm, computer type)
• 1× axle, 3 mm diameter, approx. 15 mm long
• 2× rubber bands (short loom bands work best)
🖨 Print tips
• PLA, 0.4 nozzle, 0.1 mm layers, ironing on the top layer
• Supports needed. A brim helps for the small parts (logo, triggers).
• The ring needs to be glued in place. The logo can be hammered in flush (optional).
• Tolerances are tight, so some light filing may be needed depending on your printer and material.
