This print-in-place box is designed to be printed on the Original Prusa XL, combines different types of materials. Parts of the box are now separated into their individual bodies and can be assigned a material much easier. Other than painting the latches to your desired color, the rest is material selectable.

A great functional print which also tests the capability of the XL, allowing flex material to load and print flawlessly with dissimilar materials and exploiting all 5 tools at the same time. What a game changer!

Printed with 0.4mm nozzles, 0.2mm layer height, 15% Grid infill with 2 perimeters, input shaper FTW, seal printed in Flex while the rest in PLA+. I managed to get 85A flex loaded into one of the Nextruders to print-in-place the seal. The seal is tapered to lock in place as the layers progress.

The box can be scaled up to 170% on the XL but I have not tried. Problem with scaling up is unnecessarily thick walls. The gap tolerances for print-in-place also get larger that might cause poor results. If someone is keen to do so, I would love to see your make.

Edit: Added XL badge to replace 3D badge. After all, it's for the XL tools, right?
