The palmrest is slightly higher than the front body of the Keychron K2 keyboard (22mm overall height). I've been using it for a while and it is really comfortable to type on. I've printed it in PLA, maybe it gets even more comfy with TPU. But I've never used TPU, so I don't know what I am talking about. :-)
Printing instructions:
- You'll need to cut the part on most printers since it is too long. If you want to be able to take it apart for easier storage, use the dovetail cut (as I did in the example).
- Place the cut pieces upright on the buildplate for a nice, smooth surface finish. Align along the Y-axis on bedslingers, then you shouldn't need a brim. I'd recommed some adhesive, though.
- Use 3 walls and cubic infill for good rigidity and no flex.
- You can use wider nozzles and higher layer heights for faster printing. The example was printed with a 0.6 nozzle and 0.36mm layer height.
Enjoy some smooth and strain-free typing on your favourite keyboard!
