In December I was looking for a way to hang up the Christmas lights on the wooden board at the outside of the house. One requirement was to do it screwless, without damage to the board and it's paintwork. Therefore is made a design that clamps the board. A set of anti slip pads provide enough friction to have it locked on the board. The amount of pressure is provided tightening the bold. To handle it with one hand while the other is holding the bracket in place a nut is placed in a hex shaped recess. I made multiple brackets to support the string of lights with 1 meter spacing. The inner shape is designed as a triangle structure with 1,5mm thickness to give more stiffness.
