You need self-tapping screws:
2 pieces 2x8
6 pieces 2x6
Support
Only the lid need support. Add a support block for the holes.
Assembly
Step 1
Glue the nose on the lid.
Step 2
screw the hinge on the lid with two 2x8 Screws
Step 3
align the lid with the body and fix it with clamps
Step 4
screw two 2x6 screws left and right from through the body into the hinge
Step 5
screw both handles with two 2x6 screws to the body
