This slightly odd case is designed to fit the Google Pixel 4a (4g) phone with either a think silicone case, or a thicker usually clear TPU case.
It uses a right angle TOPK right angle magnetic USB cable (gen 1, not gen2 or 3). The end of the cable is meant to float slightly in the dock, since the two cases require different Y and Z positions for the phone's connector.
The circular cutouts are meant to accommodate the small “feet" on the back corners of the thicker case.
