English:

This is a round case for a card style RFID tag that requires some cutting and assembly.

In those card style RFID tags that are popular in our area, the coil and the chip is actually in the circle and can be cut out of the plastic card and put in a round case.

A guide for marking the cut-out line is included and can be printed. You need to check that the coil fits in the circle so it is not damaged after cutting. It can easily be done by placing the card against some light.

This design features a living hinge to make assembly easier and serves as an additional protection against accidental opening of the case.  The living hinge works fine with ABS but I have doubts about PLA.

Designed to be printed with 0.2mm layer height.

No supports, no brims.

Assembly instructions:

  1. Mark a cutting line with a pencil a printed guide.
  2. Check the cutting line against some light to make sure that the circuit is located in the middle of the circle.
  3. Cut the circle with a pair of scissors.
  4. Place the circle inside a case and snap it shut.
  5. Enjoy :)
