Easter ratchet
Musical instrument inspired by traditional wooden ratchets used instead of Church bells (see history of easter ratchets on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ratchet_(instrument) )
Print settings
material: PLA
layer height: 0.2mm
Other setup for parts is included in 3mf file and is optimized for best ratchet performance.
Assembly

- Insert the wheels into the ratchet so that the opposite holes are graduated in size. Wheel one will be on the lower side of the ratchet (the one with the larger hole), wheel 2 will be in the upper half of the ratchet (the one with the smaller hole).
- Insert the handle into the bottom hole and slowly rotate until the pin in the handle fits into the lock in the wheel 1. Continue through wheel 2 in the same way until it is completely fitted on the handle.
- Push so that the top of the handle goes through the ratchet. Do not use brute force to avoid damaging the lock on the top of the handle. When inserting the handle, you can turn it slightly.
Usage
Turn the ratchet so that it makes a clicking sound. You can change the frequency with the rotation speed.
